I hope you enjoyed a great day, I spent the day (my birthday also - so great to share such a major day!) traveling around the Manawatu - went through this great place called Bulls which has wonderful signs to promote the town, I will be blogging about Bulls shortly on Zoodle!

I have never heard of rock cakes - my fond memories are of rock buns made lovingly by my granny. They were gorgeous.
