We were delighted to welcome the intrepid Andrew Webb from Channel4, who is writing an on-line diary with video reports, photographs and recipes, as he journeys around Britain on his mission to unearth Britain's foodie gems....

Not only a committed scotch egg afficianado his technical expertise is entirely responsible for this technological leap in to the blogoshpere!

So it seems entirely fitting to publish his picture (below) of the Black Watch he made with Penny on his visit along with a link to his exciting project

"It was the name that won me over: Black Watch. That and the fact it stood out as the bad boy of the Scotch egg versions on offer, boasting a dark under crust created by adding black pudding to the sausage meat mix. I bought one, froze on the spot at the first mouthful, and went back and bought another after I'd finished the first".
